Charitable Contributions – Donate Today
The Southeastern Connecticut Housing Alliance (“SECHA”) advocacy for the creation of affordable and workforce housing is critical to our region. Our housing advocacy services are essential in that our organization educates both the private and public sectors. Our information dispels the myths pertaining to affordable housing, while also providing valuable data about a wide variety of housing issues, including housing development. The collection, analysis, and distribution of this information simplifies the affordable housing development process which ultimately makes affordable housing more accessible by removing barriers to housing, and creating more housing options.
Access to affordable housing promotes strengthening families. It also allows young adults the opportunity to attend some of the finest educational institutions in the country, thus it spurs economic development with an educated workforce. Affordable housing also allows our more senior population to remain in Connecticut near their families, healthcare providers, and lifestyle choices.
As Connecticut continues to struggle with a serious shortage of affordable housing, SECHA is asking for your charitable contributions to assist us with our advocacy efforts. What was already one of the most significant challenges for families in our State (and more specifically our region) has become a crisis, expanding to encompass many middle class families who have never before experienced problems paying for housing.
Reach Out. Reaching out and donating to a good cause can be simple and enjoyable when you use a little creativity. SECHA welcomes all contributions whether it be from large corporations, small businesses, foundations, families, or individuals. Please consider donating?
The Southeastern CT Housing Alliance engages in promoting affordable workforce housing every day, but we can’t do it without your help.
During these difficult times, will you consider joining with us as a financial supporter to improve the affordable housing crisis in our state?
Donations may be tax deductible contributions. Your generousity is appreciated and all levels, ($25, $100, $250 and $1,000, or more), are welcomed.
